The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut
The rising star maintains impressive social media presence
Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known backers as she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"He practically advised me to compete and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA commented that involving Kai brings the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching the next generation.
The social media influencer boasts a massive following and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle brand.
Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
