Nico O’Reilly Another assured performance by the 20-year-old following his initial appearance versus Serbia. Saka failed to make the most of a clever touch behind the opposing backline. His position is firmly his already. 7/10

The newcomer His first start in an England shirt. A bit careless in possession though his whipped deliveries posed a danger. A useful game manager for the coach to have against defensive opponents. Booked after a reckless foul. 6/10

The midfielder Set-pieces from corners and free-kicks created chances. Had freedom to move down the left flank only to be offside as the pass came in shooting positions. Given a deserved substitution around the 60-minute point. Six

The star midfielder Played in an advanced spot on the right and did plenty of defensive duties. Displayed glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot over. Replaced late on by a teammate, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7/10

The winger Had the team's clearest opportunity in the opening period, his effort smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, it fell to him to provide width down the right side yet his deliveries from wide areas varied in quality. Substituted with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker netting two more goals in an England shirt. The first a trademark poacher’s finish while the second a superb finish with his head after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, he continues to improve and England stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him leading the line. Eight

The attacker Struggled to make an impact out wide. Was presented with a good opening following a pass from a teammate but Strakosha denied him. His replacement had a greater an impact in his place. 5/10
