Pat Bamford Joins the Blades After Leading Derogatory Songs Targeting Coach Chris Wilder
Patrick Bamford is now a member of the Championship side just seven months after leading derogatory chants directed at the team's coach, Wilder.

One of the player's final notable acts while at Leeds included starting insulting chants about Chris Wilder during the clubâs promotion celebrations this spring. Now, the one-cap England player is set to play for Wilder as Sheffield United's boss looks to rescue the team he loves away from the relegation zone.

Making Amends & Moving Forward
Everything seems has been resolved with United, the league's lowest scorers, urgently requiring of a boost in attack and Bamford hoping to revive his career.
The Wilder chant went viral this spring. An apologetic Patrick along with Leeds boss, Daniel Farke, called the Sheffield United manager the following day.
Wilder said at the time: âSpoke with Patrick yesterday and Iâve no issue at all with that. I'm uncertain regarding the words used from a fellow professional! But I valued and respected him giving me a call.
âWe had 20 minutes and similarly I talked with Daniel as well and we had a half-hour chat with him and he is a great person, a class act. When I was playing we would dish it out and take it and thatâs an integral part of the game across all levels, including Sunday league. I've got no problem at all. I'm fine with the situation and I said that to Patrick.â
