Fresh particulars have surfaced regarding the shocking passing of renowned film director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were found at their residence home on Sunday.

A source indicates citing a person close to the family, a massage therapist scheduled for an session first raised the alarm after being unable to gain access the residence. This individual then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides nearby.

When she went into the house, Romy found her father's body. Accounts indicate she then fled the house in anguish, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Another individual who had gone with her promptly called 911. Subsequently, first responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Proceedings

Authorities have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, reportedly a knife. He is now detained without bail.
