Iran Reports Attack on American Facility in Bahrain, Amid Widespread Military Operations.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed operations across the region in response for a "massive" and ongoing offensive against it by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area in the area of the main base of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any destruction is not yet known and the US has remained silent.
Airspace Engagements
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to American military installations - reported they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had successfully engaged a number of projectiles apparently targeting the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the region.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the offensive on Iran initiated by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That preceding assault - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck locations linked to the Iranian leadership, with President Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the government.

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israeli military reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the UAE said in a statement that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems responded to the projectiles with great effectiveness and destroyed a number of missiles," the statement continued.
It said missile fragments landed in a residential area in Abu Dhabi, resulting in some material damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
